The exterior of the Saratz Hotel consists of two areas: an inviting access area with a lovely designed green area and a huge (35,000 square meter) romantic nature park with a gorge and historic bridge.
The illumination of selected trees, rocks and water makes the natural beauty of the landscape visible without being overburdening. Stray light is reduced to a minimum through the employment of reflectors and metal masks cut to precise specifications. A control system with a random setting ensures that new and changing elements become part of the night spectacle– in the earlier hours there are more such elements, in the later hours less, until they finally fade.
