Franz Marc Museum, Kochel am See, Germany

The art collection of the Franz Marc Museum consists of oil paintings, drawings and a few sculptures. The luminaires subtly come into the scene through their almost translucent materialisation.

The lighting of the exhibition rooms was planned according to the recommended illuminance levels of the ICOM (International Council of Museums): 50 lux for drawings and 300 lux for oil paintings. These can be regulated through a simple lighting control system.
